After School Club Co-ordinator - Copplestone Primary School (Devon Moors Federation)

The Devon Moors Federation is an established and maintained five-school federation. It consists of Copplestone, Filleigh, Kilmington, Shute, and Spreyton Primary Schools. We are also part of the United Schools Learning Partnership Co-Operative Trust that we joined in February 2018.

Copplestone Primary School has 160 children on roll, and we are looking to appoint an After School Club leader to work to run the After School Club at Copplestone Primary School from the week commencing Thursday 19th October 2023. You will be responsible for running the after-school club between 3.30pm and 5.30pm for 2 evenings per week (Thursday and Friday) during term time. You will follow a timetable of activities set down by the Head of School and will be responsible for setting up and packing away before and after the club. You will be motivated, enthusiastic and able to communicate well with children and parents.

A qualification in paediatric first aid is desirable but not essential as the relevant training will be provided if necessary.

This role also requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

Teacher - Filleigh Primary School (Devon Moors Federation)

The Devon Moors Federation is an established and maintained five-school federation. It consists of Copplestone, Filleigh, Kilmington, Shute, and Spreyton Primary Schools. We are also part of the United Schools Learning Partnership Co-Operative Trust that we joined in February 2018.

Filleigh Primary School is set in the heart of the Fortescue Estate, which is a designated Area of Outstanding Beauty and the school currently has 79 children across a four-class structure. Filleigh is a happy and welcoming school and believes that learning is an experience to be enjoyed. Our children are enthusiastic and eager to learn, and we have a dedicated and supportive team of staff.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed teacher to start with us as soon as possible. You will be an experienced classroom practitioner who has a strong moral compass, high levels of emotional intelligence and a desire to continually improve their practice. Experience of the Little Wandle phonics scheme is desirable, but not essential as training will be given. 

The Governors are committed to CPD and are keen to support staff develop their professional practice and careers.
